William Jarrell Mabery

William “Billy” Mabery, 69, of Haltom City, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

Billy was born on December 3, 1956, at All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, to Robert Arnold Mabery and Gertie Louise Mabery.

From the time he was just seven years old, cars were a part of Billy’s life. What began at such a young age grew into a lifelong career in the car business, where he spent many years working as a wholesale dealer. Later in life, his love and compassion for animals became an even bigger part of his days, and he devoted much of his time to working with the Humane Society and helping animals in need.

Anyone who knew Billy knew the size of his heart. He loved his family and friends deeply, and his compassion extended just as strongly to animals. If someone-or any animal-needed help, Billy was the kind of person who wanted to do something about it. His kindness was genuine, and helping others was simply a part of who he was.

But Billy also knew how to make people laugh. He was quick-witted, always ready with a joke, and rarely missed an opportunity to give someone a hard time in good fun. His contagious laugh was unmistakably his, and the sound of it is something those who loved him will never forget.

Billy leaves behind so much more than the years he lived. He leaves behind countless stories, laughter, memories, and the impact of every act of kindness he gave so freely throughout his life. He will be remembered for his loving heart, his humor, his generosity, his compassion for animals, and most of all, for the love he had for the people who meant the most to him.

Billy was proceeded in death by his parents Robert and Louise Mabery; His brothers, Michael Mabery and Phillip Mabery; and his beloved grandpup, Babycakes.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Wright; His children, Cade Wright, Kyndal Maybery and Angela Mabery; And his siblings, Robert Mabery, Millicent Bailey and Elisa Wright.
