William “Craig” Henshaw was born on March 22, 1942 in Haskell, Texas to the late Corene (Laird) Henshaw and Carl Milton Henshaw.  He passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by family, in Roanoke, Texas on June 12, 2023 at the age of 81 years old.

Craig attended Polytechnic High School in Fort Worth before serving our country in the United States Navy.  He retired from Bell Helicopter after 28 years of service. When he was a young man, he loved fast cars, good music, and fishing Denton Creek with his brothers when the crappie ran. Years later, he would bring those crappie home for Rachel to fry up for their family of four.  After retirement he really discovered his love of creating art with paint and pastels. He loved growing in skill while experimenting with mediums as an artist, and sharing his art with those he loved dearly.  He was loved deeply and will be missed beyond measure.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Rex Henshaw.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 49 years, Rachel Henshaw of Roanoke, Texas; daughter, Christy Ringler of Fort Worth; son, Carl Henshaw and wife, Anne of Roanoke; grandchildren, Tiffany Ringler, William Ringler, Henry Henshaw, and Beatris Henshaw; brother, Ross Henshaw of North Richland Hills; sister, Carol Baucom of Bedford; numerous nieces and nephews, extended family members and a host of friends.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Alpine Funeral Home located at 2300 N. Sylvania Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76111.
