Wesley Scott Tidwell

Wesley Scott Tidwell was born on April 27, 1975 in St. Peterburg, Florida and he passed away on June 19, 2023 at home in Aledo, Texas.

Wes graduated from North Garland High School and graduated from University of North Texas with his Bachelor’s degree and received his Masters degree from Southern Methodist University.  He served our country in the United States Air Force. He was employed at Lockheed Martin as a software engineer.

Wes loved all things sci-fi.  He was a Star Wars and Star Trek fan and also liked Anime. He loved to watch “The Office” and was a Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboy fan. He was also a gun enthusiast and enjoyed his time at the shooting range.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dianna Tidwell.

He is survived by his father, Larry Tidwell of Aledo; sisters, Michelle Thompson of Dallas and Noel Myers of Brownsboro; nieces and nephews, who were like children to him, Justin Thompson and wife, Mayra, Jessica Griffin and husband, Mike, Aaron Meshelle, Kayla Myers and fiancé, Tad, and Kory Myers; great nieces and nephews, Joanna, Jessenia, Zoe, Elizabeth, and Jacob; his furry friend, Precious; extended family members and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at Alpine Funeral Home located at 2300 N. Sylvania Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76111.  Committal service with Air Force honors will be held the same day at 2:15 P.M., at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery located at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.
