Waymon Doss Lane passed away Sunday evening September 24, 2023 in Bonham, Texas. Waymon was in the company of his son and granddaughter and fellow military veterans.
Waymon was born February 8, 1940 in Terrell, Texas to Christine Elizabeth (Couch) Lane and Othal Lee Lane.
Waymon is Preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers, 2 sisters and daughter, Rebecca Jones.
He is survived by his children: son, Donald and his wife Angela Lane; daughter, Regina Lane. His grandchildren: Amanda K. Lane - Quintanilla and husband, Chris Quintanilla; Barbara Lane Nagg and her husband, Quentin Nagg; Sarah N. Lane; Connor Lane; Justin Lane; Shawn Lane and his wife, Michelle Lane; Rozza Jaramillo and her husband, Rogaciano Jaramillo; and Tisha Moeller. Great- Grandchildren: KayLynn and Aiden Johnson, ZayLie and Autumn Quintanilla; Grayson, Madilynn and Everly Nagg; Ry’Leigh Zwick; Landon Lane; Skylar, Alexis, Kaitlynn and Mairin Lane; Emmaly, Rogaciano Jr. and Pablo Jaramillo; and Trinity, Devan and Maximus Moeller.
Alpine Funeral Home will hold a Visitation from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Friday, September 29, 2023 at Alpine Funeral Home Chapel, 2300 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, Texas, 76111. A Graveside Service to celebrate his life will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Aurora Cemetery 507 Cemetery Road, Aurora, Texas, 76078.
