Tamara Serna

September 3, 1960 — February 4, 2016

Tamara Lynn Serna, 55, went to be with the Lord on February 4, 2016.

Tamara was survived by her children: Son, Michael Paul Reed and Daughter, Theresa Tennerson.  Her Grandchildren: Cailie Madision Reed, Ashton Reed-Perez, and Kieran Avery Reed.  Also, her siblings; Sister, Renee Reed and Missy Ingle; and Brother, Bruce Reed.  Tamara was preceded in death by her Parents; Paul and Lena Reed and her other siblings: Duke Allen Reed, Paul Michael Reed, and Sandra Faye Reed.

Tamara was born on September 03, 1960 in Wichita, Kansas to Paul and Lena Reed.  Her Father Paul was active in the United State Air Force and the family moved all over the US for years.  Including, New Jersey, Michigan, Missouri, and ended in Texas in 1969.

Tamara went to school here in Texas and graduated from Northside High School in 1979.  She spent most of her time participating in the High School Band where she played the clarinet and she enjoyed it fully.  After graduation she devoted all her days to her children in the world of Motherhood.  Tamara had been blessed with 2 children whom she treasured and loved very much.  Son; Michael born in 1979 and Daughter; Theresa born in 1990.

Tamara was a longtime employee of Billy Bobs Texas in the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards.  She certainly loved her job and of course the music as well.

Everyone that knew Tamara, knew her love for the Lord and her passion for writing and singing songs.  Besides loving her family and friends, her other interests involved her artistic side of painting and drawing.  Tamara had a heart of gold and was always willing to help anyone in need. Her giving nature not once went unnoticed.  She will missed greatly by many.

John 3:16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
