Sharon Marie (Martin) Justice was born on July 5, 1961 in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Kathleen “Kitty” (Smith) Martin and Jesse Lester Martin. She entered into her heavenly home on July 1, 2024 at the age of 62.
Sharon attended Richland High School and graduated in 1980. She then attended beauty and cosmetology school.
Sharon enjoyed gardening, art work, and spending time in nature. Sharon loved to share her voice with singing, song writing, and playing piano. She loved her church home and family.
Sharon spent her time doing missionary work and traveling around the world. She visited Trinidad and Tobago, Israel, France, Honduras, Brazil, and many others. Sharon volunteered at the Mid-Cities Women’s Clinic for 8 years, along with volunteering her services as a crisis pregnancy counselor. Sharon enjoyed serving the community by involving herself with precinct elections and serving as a precinct chairman. She also served her community as a community chaplain, assisting those in need. For over 25 years, Sharon homeschooled her seven children and taught within a homeschool co-op group.
Sharon traveled with her husband seeing new places and experiencing the nature that she loved so much. Stopping in Washington, she spent her final days counseling young adults and preparing them to become the leaders of the next generation.
Sharon loved to serve the lord by serving others. She had a big heart, a selfless personality, a beautiful smile, and a laugh that could warm your heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Kitty Martin.
She served beside her husband of over 38 years, Dan Justice; children: Ashlee Justice, Gerrit Justice and wife, Shelbie, Aliya Justice, Jonathan Justice, Emily Justice, Luke Justice, and Joanna Justice; grandchildren, Aiden and Elliot; brother, Robert Martin and wife, Paula; brother, Anthony “Tony” Martin and wife, Deanne; and brother, Paul Martin and wife, Aurora.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, July 15, 2024 at Bethesda Community Church, with funeral services to follow.
