Scott Edward Garrett 45 of Fort Worth, passed away on Tuesday October12, 2021 after a short battle  with Covid 19. Scott was born in Fort Worth, TX on March 26, 1976 to Joe and Toni Garrett. He graduated Southwest High School in Fort Worth in 1994 and went on to attend the University of Texas at Arlington. He graduated with a Bachelors of Arts Marketing degree. After college, Scott started his hotel hospitality career as management training at the Corporate Omni Hotel Irving. His career positions included Director of Catering Food and Beverage at the Dallas Crowne Plaza hotel, Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the Chumash Resort and Casino in Santa Yanez California, General Manager Multi Unit at the Luxor Resort and Casino Las Vegas Nevada, and Beverage Manager at the  Rio Resort Casino Las Vegas Nevada.   He made many friends and acquaintances along the way and will be fondly remembered. Recently moving back to Texas, he was employed as Operations Manager with the” Rim Restaurant” at Waterside in Fort Worth. He is survived in life by his Father Joe David Garrett Sr. of Joshua, mothers Sherry Garrett of Joshua and Toni Garrett of Fort Worth, Spouse Jessica Kaye Swaner of Keller, son Greyson Garrett, son Jaxon Stanley and daughter Avarey Garrett, brothers Joe David Garrett Jr. of Fort Worth, Mitch Clark of Hutto (Austin) and sister Ashlee Clark of Fort Worth. Scott had one grandmother and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins who will miss him dearly. Vistation and viewing will held for Scott on Thursday evening October 21, 2021 at Alpine Funeral Home in Haltom City from 6-8pm for family and friends. A celebration of life will be arranged and plans will be published sometime after the holidays. Scott’s wishes were to be cremated and have his ashes spread on the mountains of Santa Fe, New Mexico where he spent many heartfelt family vacations as a young man.   Rest in Peace, Scott….
