Ruth Annette Higgs

Ruth Annette (Frederici) Higgs was born on January 4, 1945 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to the late Nona Ruth (Hogue) Frederici and Ellsworth Whitney Frederici.  

Ruth was retired from St. Jo Independent School District where she enjoyed her career in special education.  She was a talented seamstress and loved to sew as well as spending time with her grandchildren. 

She is survived by her children, son, Bryan Higgs and wife, Nicole of Claude, Texas and daughter, Tracy Trahan and husband, Jason of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Danielle Bolinger and husband, Dustin, Alyssa Taylor and husband, Landon, Dale Higgs, Kaitlyn Higgs, Madison Trahan and fiancé, Jake Martin, and Meagan Trahan; two great-grandchildren, Paislee and Klayten. She is also survived by her pride and joy, Sassy her dog. 

A celebration of life dinner will be held in memory of Ruth by her family to share memories and stories in the near future.
