Ruth (Ann) Chapman Sanders

Ruth (Ann) Chapman Sanders, age 77 of North Richland Hills, Texas went to be with our Lord and Savior on October 1, 2020. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Alpine Funeral Home in Fort Worth, TX. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Birdville Cemetery in Haltom City, TX. Ann was born to Russell D. Chapman and Evelyn B. Chapman on December 19, 1942. Ann was the baby of the three siblings. Ann married Jackie Eugene Mayfield on July 17, 2002. He preceded her in death on October 9, 2005. Ann was a former co-owner of Bar Stools Plus in Fort Worth for many years until she retired in 2005. Ann will be remembered as a loving Mother, Gamma Taco and a friend to many. Ann had three children, eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She loved to dance, sing and eat tacos. When she walked into the room she was stunning and everyone noticed. She could dance the “Push” and move everyone off the dance floor to watch her. Her voice was beautiful and always had a song in her voice and heart. She loved to give hugs. Her heart was bigger than life itself! She lived her life loving with all her heart and soul. Ann was preceded in death by her father, Russell D. Chapman; mother, Evelyn B. Chapman; her two sisters, LaNelle and Barbara; her Son, Daniel Lee Hobbs Jr.; two grandsons, Justin Beam and Luke Reser, two nephews and two nieces. Survivors include; daughter, Angelina Carpenter of North Richland Hills; daughter and Son-n-law, Raquel and Phil Harbin of Weatherford, TX; grandchildren, Tiffany, Krystle, RaBeca, Chloe, Danielle, Jordan and Savanah; great grandchildren, Autumn, Logan, Charlie, Mason, Barrett, Aubree, Kora, Summer, Addilynn and Allyson. niece, Alex Gaither Conrad; nephew, Austin Gaither. “Have I told you lately that I love you?”
