Rudy Cortez, Jr.

Rudy Cortez, Jr. was born on October 12, 1969 in Fort Worth, Texas. He passed away on November 22, 2024 in Bedford, Texas at the age of 55.

Rudy grew up in Fort Worth Texas and graduated from Diamond Hill High School. Family was important to him. He loved his children very much. He enjoyed listening to music and working on different projects at home. Rudy was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan. His favorite place to eat was Chili's. He was a very wise man and loved to give his advice.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rudy Cortez, Sr.; brother, Eddie Cortez; and daughter, Alexus Cortez.

Rudy is survived by the love of his life for over 22 years, Delinda Ramirez of Bedford; mother, Stella “Kay” Cortez of Fort Worth; children, Angelica De Los Santos and husband, Mario of Fort Worth; Michelle Cortez of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Sabrina Molina and husband, Austin of Bowie; Carolyn Farrell and husband, Sean of Fort Worth; Amanda Ramirez of Bedford; Carlos Ramirez of Dallas; and Margarita Waldroup and husband, Will of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Andrew, Gabriel, Dzatheryn, Andrew, James, Lucas and Michael.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., Monday, December 2, 2024 at Williams and Lucas Funeral Home Chapel followed by funeral service at 1:00 P.M. and then interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth.
