Rebeca Sotir King

Rebeca Sotir King was born on April 21, 1950 in Radauti, Romania and she passed away on November 6, 2024 in Plano, Texas at the age of 74. 

Rebeca had a successful career as an OR Technician. She loved to garden and was a member of St Mary's Romanian Orthodox Church in Colleyville. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Maria Pruteanu and Pruteanu Titus; sister Lucretia Pruteanu; and brother, Stefan Pruteanu. 

Rebeca is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Vernon Henry King of Dallas; daughter, Carmen Lupu and husband, Cristian of Romania; son, Robert King of Romania; son, Adrian Pruteanu and wife, Monica of Haltom City; and Goddaughter, Mary Hernandez and husband, Rafael; grandson, Albert; God grandchildren, Fabian, Vivian, and Christian; nieces and nephew, Andrea, Isabela and Doru. 

Visitation will be from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M., Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Alpine Funeral Home in Fort Worth followed by funeral service at 10:00 A.M. also at Alpine Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth.
