Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Quentin Russell Thomas, who left this world at the age of 42, on July 1, 2026.

Quentin was born on November 26, 1983, in Calcutta, India. He was adopted at two months of age by Tommy Thomas, and raised in Abilene, Texas. Abilene was his home town.

A devoted husband, loving father, cherished son, and beloved brother, Quentin was the heart of his family. He was known for his kind spirit, unwavering love, and the joy he brought to those around him. His greatest pride was his family, and he treasured every moment spent with them.

Quentin found happiness in life's simple pleasures. He was an avid NASCAR fan, who rarely missed a race, enjoyed spending time tending to his garden, and found peace and comfort at the beach. Whether he was cheering on his favorite driver, growing something beautiful, or enjoying the ocean with his family, he embraced life with appreciation and enthusiasm.

Though his time with us was far too short, the memories he created and the lives he touched will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Quentin was an illuminating light in what can be a dark place. He fought every day to live and cherished every moment of his life. His light continues to burn bright in his daughter, Aliyah Kibodeaux (25), his two sons Zachary (11) and Isaac Thomas (9), and wife Patricia Sherfey who all are an extension of him and will hold him in their hearts forever.

Quentin is survived by his wife Patricia Thomas, sons Zachary and Isaac Thomas, his mother Tommy Thomas, sister Tory Thomas Brown, and many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Quentin is loved, deeply missed, and will never be forgotten.

A viewing will be held at Williams & Lucas Funeral Home, Monday July 13th, 2026 from 12:00pm - 3:00pm, with service beginning at 1:00pm.

517 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111
