Paul Anthony Kanesky, a devoted family man and accomplished entrepreneur, passed away peacefully at his home in Arlington, Texas, on April 23, 2026. Paul was surrounded by his family, his daughter Marla & her husband Jason Joseph remained by his side during his final years and final moments; providing comfort and love in his passing. Born on July 13, 1944, in Brooklyn, New York, Paul lived a life marked by dedication, precision, and unwavering support for those he loved.
Throughout his career, Paul owned and operated his own remodel and construction business, where his organized and detail-oriented approach earned him respect and admiration. Known for his no-nonsense demeanor, Paul also possessed a deep reservoir of love and care, qualities that defined his relationships with family and friends alike.
Paul was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Emily Kanesky, whose memory he held close throughout his life; daughter, Shelly Thompson; and granddaughter, Devin Rae Thompson. He is survived by his daughters: Wolf Spicer, Christine San Filippo and husband Robert San Filippo, Marla Lane and husband Jason Lane; grandchildren: Logan Arlington and wife Hailey Arlington, Anthony Leander, Arianna Leander, and Nicolas Leander; sister-in-law, Shirley Shaffer and her son, Timothy Helton; and Paul's Best-Friends: Dr. Graceffo, Melinda Foster, and Charles Gonzales.
Leaving behind a legacy built on hard work, integrity, his awesome career in the Army Special forces and heartfelt devotion, Paul Anthony Kanesky will be remembered as a man who balanced strength with kindness, and precision with compassion. His impact will long endure in the hearts of his family and all who had the privilege to know him. He will be remembered for his special love for his Wife Emily Kanesky who he has now joined.
