“Big Mike” Michael Anthony Reyes was born on April 26, 1990, in Fort Worth, Texas, and he passed away tragically on May 10, 2025, also in Fort Worth, Texas, at the age of 35.
Michael was a graduate of Carter Riverside High School in Fort Worth. He had worked as a bouncer for a brief time in his life, but that was not his true nature. He was known as a big “Teddy Bear,” always protective of those he loved. He enjoyed music, hanging out with his friends, and spending time working on his truck. He was also a very creative man who loved to draw and create art. A natural jokester, Michael had a wonderful sense of humor that could light up any room.
More than anything, Michael loved being a father. His children, Michael Anthony Reyes, Jr. and Delilah Kataleyah Reyes, were the light of his life. He was deeply proud of them and cherished every moment spent with them. His love for his kids was boundless and evident to everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his children, Michael Anthony Reyes, Jr. and Delilah Kataleyah Reyes; mother, Karen Denise Reyes; father, Marco Antonio Reyes; sister, Alexandra “Lexi” Sierra and husband, Eric; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and a host of friends.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Lamb of God Church located at 3615 Maurice Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76111, with Pastor Victor Sullivan officiating.
