Michael Anthony Gonzales, age 37, of Fort Worth, Texas died in Fort Worth, Texas on Friday June 19, 2026. Mikey was born to Raymond Gonzales and Julie Davis Gonzales.
Mikey loved life. From the time he was born he was our pride and joy. As a baby he always wanted to follow his big brother, Lance. At 16 years old Mikey asked his daddy to get him into Skandor Akbar's wrestling school, where he started his training. Mikey loved his trainers and became a great wrestler. His passion was wrestling. His daddy gave him the wrestling name Ironheart. He did a few parts in movies and some with his daddy. At one point he decided he wanted to get his bartender's license and did it.
Mikey was so smart and could do anything he set his mind to. He worked as an apartment office manager with his daddy. He always loved getting to work side by side with his daddy. He then worked at Billy Bobs, Texas as a customer service supervisor with his daddy. He loved his time there. He then went to work at Buyer's barricades. He enjoyed his job. Then he decided to get his tow truck license and did it. He also had started writing a book. He had such a huge imagination. He loved writing and he loved listening to music. He loved all kinds of music. He loved country but especially loved the oldies that his daddy had raised him on.
Mikey loved everyone he came across. He loved making people laugh and enjoyed life. He spent a lot of time having long chats with his parents and making them smile. Mikey loved his brother, Lance, and they would spend hours talking and laughing. Mikey and his mom could sit and talk for hours and laugh so much cause Mikey had a way of telling stories.
Mikey was a kind and gentle soul with an outgoing personality. He loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Mikey is preceded in death his grandmother, Patricia Davis, his grandfather, Bill Davis, his grandmother Tomasita Gonzales, grandfather, Roy Gonzales, Aunt Beth Davis, and Aunt Donna Lynn Davis. He is survived by his mother, Julie Davis Gonzales, Father Raymond Gonzales, Brother Lance Gonzales, Uncle Michael Davis, Uncle George Davis and numerous cousins.
A visitation and service will be held on Monday July 6, 2026, from 1:00pm-4:00pm at Lucas Funeral Home on 1321 Precinct Line in Hurst, Texas.
