MARSHALL STEPHEN "STEVE" KEETON, 67

In loving memory of Marshall "Steve" Keeton, 67, of Kennedale, Texas died November 1, 2015, at Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington, Texas. He was born in Fort Worth Texas, in 1948, to Harold Beasley Keeton and Fannie Wanema Keeton on a fine Sunday morning and was enrolled in Sunday school later that day.

Surviving are his wife Jennifer Keeton, son Luke Keeton, daughter Stephenie Collins, sister Carolyn Hamilton; one granddaughter Carley Collins; two grandsons Blake and Nolan Collins. As well as two step-sons Asa Wheeler and Scott Atkins, two step-daughters Mandy Garvin and Victoria Walker; one step-granddaughter Catti-brie Wheeler, one step-grandson Lucas Garvin. He is preceded in death by one step-granddaughter Tatum Louise Garvin.

Steve worked as a Registered Professional Land Surveyor at Keeton Surveying Company for 34 years, of which his father Harold Keeton established in 1967. He proudly served the community of The City of Grand Prairie and surrounding areas. He attended school in Oklahoma University and Texas A&M.

He was a man that dedicated his life to loving his family and to hard work and business integrity in helping others. Steve loved the simple things in life. He lived for the Lord, his wife, his children, and wife’s children as his own.

The visitation is from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Alpine Funeral Home, 2300 N. Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, Texas. The funeral service will follow the next day and will be a private family service at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 6, 2015, also at the Alpine Funeral Home. The burial will be in Ozona, Texas, as he wanted to always be laid to rest out in the country with his family.
