LINDA SUE BALLARD KATES 
Born in Fort Worth, Texas on December 13,1943. Ascended to Heaven from Hurst, Texas on July 5,2024.
Linda lived with her parents, Roy and Ernistine Ballard in the Riverside area of Fort Worth and graduated with honors from Carter-Riverside High School. 
Married 1965-2002 to Jesse Everette Kates
Married 2006-2024 to Charlie Carey Hargrove
Linda worked at Riverside Bank for 20 years followed by 26 years for “Show You Care” charity. She and her husband Everett Kates ran the charity with Clayton Parker. Everett passed suddenly in 2002 and Linda & Mr. Parker continued the charity thru 2018. Linda worked with the “Miss Texas” contest for several years as fashion coordinator. 
Linda loved fashion designing, traveling and was a very talented Ballroom Dancer. As a fan of great music she loved going to concerts and stage shows. Linda was very photogenic and loved getting photos with family, friends and celebrities.
Linda loved family celebrations with her step children Carey, Brian and Jana. To her grandchildren Lauren, Ethan & Gavin Ballentine, along with Sophia Rose & Henry Hargrove she was know as “Sweet Granny Linda”.
Linda was a true inspiration to family and friends that loved her sparking personality, her quick wit, her laughter, her pure classy demeanor, and her genuine angelic beauty. She always had compliments for everyone she met and genuine interest in their lives. Linda did everything possible to make her world a better place.
Our Heavenly Father welcomed Linda with his everlasting love. She has her beautiful Angel Wings flying in Divine Heavens. Our Lord Jesus Christ lived in her soul and is her Savior.
