Leocadio Rios Jr.

Leocadio “Boy” Rios Jr., of Fort Worth, TX passed away on June 13th, 2026, at the age of 63. Boy was born June 30, 1962, in Corsicana, Texas, to Leocadio Rios Sr. and Rafaela Ortega Sotelo. He was a loving son, father, brother, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed. 

While we navigate through our grief, we find comfort in knowing that he has now been reunited with his mother, Rafaela Ortega Sotelo; nephews Eric Clark and Jose Luis Rios; and niece Anna Rios. 

Boy is survived by his stepfather Francisco Sotelo; his two children: son Leocadio Rios of Fort Worth and daughter Rachel Rios from Jerold, Texas. He also leaves behind six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is survived by his sisters Virginia Rios, Carmen Padilla, and Lyna De Los Santos; brothers Frederick Ross and Joseph Ross, all from Fort Worth, Texas; as well as numerous beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends. 

Our family invites all relatives and friends to join us in remembering, honoring, and celebrating Boy’s life. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Alpine Funeral Home, 2300 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, Texas 76111.

We give thanks to God for the gift of Boy’s life, and we find comfort in knowing that he is now resting peacefully in the loving arms of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
