Laura Elizabeth (Melvin, McCamy, Guentensberger) Cheney

Laura Elizabeth (Melvin, McCamy, Guentensberger) Cheney   Laura was born December 7, 1962 at Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence, Massachusetts. She passed away June 7, 2022.   Her father John Bernard Melvin preceded her in death. Laura is survived by her husband John Cheney, her mother Nancy Waitt-Melvin, her siblings: Greg, Michael, Lisa, Cynthia, Rebecca, her children Andrew and Nicole, and nine grandchildren.   Laura worked as a human resource director at several Dallas companies including Perot Systems, Dave and Buster’s, and others. Laura was loved by family and friends. Alpine Funeral Directors are handling the arrangements including cremation.
