Larry Wayne Pallett

Larry Wayne Pallett was born on January 30, 1946 in McKinney, Texas to the late Bertha Pauline (Chambers) Pallett and Clifford Winston Pallett. He passed away on February 27, 2024 in Grapevine, Texas at the age of 78.

Larry retired from the City of Grand Prairie. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and the quiet times he spent in nature. He collected guns and knives and was proud to teach his grandchildren how to shoot. He also enjoyed collecting antiques and thrifting. He was a proud father and grandfather who adored his wife, Shirley. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife, Shirley Louise (Davis) Pallett; his brother, Dennis Pallett, and special cousin, David Pallett. 

He is survived by his adoring daughters, Christy Bolton and husband, Toby and Misty Derrick and husband Greg; precious grandchildren, Ryan Derrick and wife, Abi, Taylor Wright and husband, Chandon, Reed Derrick, Gracie Bolton, Emma Derrick, and Zoe Bolton; great-granddaughter, Isla Derrick; brothers-in-law, Larry Davis and wife Debbie and John Davis; special double cousin, Mike Pallett and wife, Carolyn; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and devoted friends, Henry Griffin, Phil Pelt, and Rick Pacek. 

A memorial service to celebrate Larry’s life will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, March 1, 2024 at Hillside Community Church located at 9915 Ray White Road, Keller, Texas 76244.
