In Loving Memory of Judy Ann KingJudy Ann King, 73, of Texas, entered her heavenly home on July 14, 2026. She was born on September 3, 1952, in Cleburne, Texas, to Ruby Homan and Weldon Orr.
Judy's childhood was filled with love, laughter, and countless memories shared with her sister and many cousins. She carried that same warmth and joy throughout her life, creating lasting friendships wherever she went.
After high school and starting her family, Judy spent many years as a sales representative for American Produce in Dallas, where she became a valued employee and grew to be like family to the LaBarba family. Through her work, she built lifelong friendships and was known for her dedication, kindness, and genuine care for others.
Above all else, Judy loved her family. Her daughters, granddaughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the greatest joys of her life, and she treasured every opportunity to spend time with them and watch her family grow. She also loved to cook, go shopping, putting the pedal to the metal in her beloved Mustangs, and sharing laughter with everyone around her.
Judy lived life with strength, determination, and an independent spirit. She was always on the go, embracing life with energy and purpose. Even in the face of life's greatest challenges, she met each day with courage and resilience.
To know Judy was to love her. She had a remarkable gift for making everyone she met feel welcome, accepted, and like family. Whether someone had known her for years or had just met her, Judy had a way of leaving them feeling cared for. She will be remembered for her generous heart, sweet spirit, infectious smile, and unwavering love for others. Her legacy of kindness, strength, and unconditional love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby Homan and Weldon Orr; her beloved husband, Robert King; and her son-in-law, Richard Gary.
She is lovingly survived by her daughters, Shaun Gilland and Jennifer White; her son-in-law, TJ White; her grandchildren, Kourtney Sanchez and her husband, Rodrigo, Kolby Gilland and his wife, Alexa, Kane Gilland, Brynlee White, and Lincoln White; her great-grandchildren, Adrianna Sanchez, Kash Sanchez, Olivia Gilland, and Kora Sanchez; her sister, Janie Petticord and her husband, Alan; her stepsisters, Gail Crites and Phyllis Sowell; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
A celebration of Judy's life will be held on August 22, 2026. The family deeply appreciates your thoughts, prayers, and love during this difficult time as they prepare to gather and celebrate a life so beautifully lived.
