Judith Ann Pannell Lanford, 76, was born August 12, 1946, in Sherman, Texas and died July 2, 2023, in Richland Hills, Texas from chronic illnesses. After graduating from Diamond Hill High school in 1964, Judy married William Dan Lanford, III (Bill) on October 3, 1964, in Haltom City, Texas. They first lived in Denton and then Fort Worth before settling in Haltom City for the remainder of their 18 years of marriage and raising their three daughters. Judy worked as a homemaker and mother until divorcing in 1984, and worked as a receptionist at various businesses until her health declined and she was forced to leave the workforce. Judy was known for her love of movies and movie stars from The Golden Age of Hollywood, and for her gentle, kind spirit, and her love for her children, grandchildren, and family.
Judy is preceded in death by her mother Pauline Susie McCurdy Pannell Morris, stepfather, Robert Lee Morris, father Dan Philip Pannell, stepmother Ethel Dean Pannell, sister Lisa Kay Pannell Sanders, brother Larry Wayne Pannell and nephew Matthew Brian Pannell, stepbrother

There will be a memorial service to honor the memory of Judith Ann Pannell Lanford on July 22, 2023 at William and Lucas Funeral Home Chapel located at 517 N. Sylvania Avenue Fort Worth, Texas at 2:30 p.m. with burial of remains to occur at West Hill Cemetery next to her cherished grandparents, Samuel Martis and Bessie Pearl McCurdy and uncle Harrel Hunter McCurdy at 5:00 on July 22, 2023 at West Hill Cemetery located at 1304 West Lamar Street Sherman, Texas 75092.
