Jennifer Lacy

With great sadness we announce that Jennifer Lynn Lacy, 52, of Kennedale, Texas died unexpectedly on Monday August 4. 
Jennifer was born to Jimmie and Sue Lacy in Midwest City, Oklahoma where she spent the first four months of her life before quickly moving with her family to Texas. She spent the rest of her days in the DFW metroplex. 
As a child, Jennifer loved visiting her grandparents and cousin Kim in Oklahoma. She and Kim enjoyed many holidays hanging out together and playing in her uncle’s van. They also enjoyed dressing up her younger brother Greg! 
In high school, Jennifer loved dancing on the drill team. She graduated from Everman High School in 1991. 
Jennifer danced on performance and competitive dance teams with Frances Lea Dance company for 15 years. During this time, she would also teach young dancers. Her early love of performance carried on throughout her life where she supported local arts programs, loved musicals and enjoyed Bass Hall season tickets. Her love of the arts included photography and Jennifer could often be seen behind a camera. 
Jennifer spent 15+ years working for Texas Health Resources. During that time, she was promoted and appeared to enjoy her role managing a team. Her work and life were done with passion and purpose. 
Jennifer loved watching Friends and also had many of them! She seemed to befriend people wherever she went making and keeping friends from all parts of her life. She had friends from the neighborhood where she grew up, the elementary school she attended, her high school dance team, her workplace (making colleagues that became like family), Junior Women’s Club, as well as mom friends from her son’s school/activities. She loved her friends, her friend’s kids, and making every person she came across feel valued and special. 
Jennifer also loved and was passionate about: the Texas Rangers, crafting, and Christmas. She loved her family but especially loved doting on her two precious nieces, Emma and Kaylin. 
Above all though, Jennifer loved her son Jaxon. Born in 2006, Jaxon brought her so much joy. Jennifer loved attending Jaxon’s school functions, encouraging him to make good grades and especially watching him play baseball. 
In the past few years, Jennifer struggled with her health. However, she never wavered from the love she had for others. With so many lives that Jennifer touched she will be sorely missed. 
She is predeceased by her parents Sue and Jim. 
Jennifer is survived by her son, Jaxon; brother, Greg and his wife Nicki; her two nieces; her aunt, Vicki; her cousins: Kim and Mark; and many many friends. Special thanks to Jaxon’s dad and stepmom for their continued love and support. Also huge thanks to Jennifer’s good friends (too many to list but especially Jennifer Haub, Tonya Black-Mayrer, Rosanna Farrish, Julie Townsend, Melissa Meyer and Jennifer Willingham) for help during this tough time and the many other times when things were rough. Your friendship will be the light that persists in spite of death. What a blessing you were to her. 
To celebrate Jennifer a viewing will be held from 2:00 P.M - 4:00 P.M. with a funeral service starting at 4:00 P.M. and a reception following at 5:00 P.M on Friday, August 15, 2025 at the Williams & Lucas Funeral Home Chapel located at 517 N Sylvania Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76111. 
Please wear pink and purple attire in honor of Jennifer.
