Jeffery Lynn Etheridge

Jeffery Lynn Etheridge, 60, of Arlington, passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 30, 2027.Jeffery was the kind of person you didn’t forget. He was loud, funny, stubborn, and full of life—truly the life of the party. He was a hustler, always figuring something out, always moving, always doing things his own way. He loved being outside, working with his hands, and took pride in landscaping and creating something from nothing.He lived a fast, unpredictable life and took more than a few chances along the way—enough that people often wondered how he made it through some of it. But that was Jeff. He kept going, kept pushing, and kept showing up in his own way. In the end, after a life lived loudly, he passed quietly and at peace. He is survived by his mother, Betty Etheridge and Kathy Etheridge; his brothers, Jimmy Etheridge with wife Teresa Etheridge and James Kunkle with wife Kendra Kunkle; his children, Thomas Etheridge, Devan Barton, and Courtney Etheridge with husband Zackery Kriska; and his grandchildren, Lilliana Barrow, Isaac Barrow, and Tyler Kriska, along with many extended family members who loved him. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gari Barton, and his father, Thomas Laverne Etheridge. A viewing will be held on Saturday, May 16th at 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM at Williams and Lucas Funeral Home, 517 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth 76111. A celebration of life will follow at the Knights of Columbus, 3809 Yucca Ave, Fort Worth, Texas 76111. Jeffery will be remembered for his big personality, his resilience, and the stories—many of them wild—that will live on through those who knew him.
