Isaiah Howard Bowman

September 4, 1960 — February 17, 2026

Isaiah Howard Bowman, lovingly known as “The Duck,” went home to be with the Lord on 2/17/2026. Though his body grew tired, his spirit remained strong and full of love for his family.

Isaiah was a devoted construction worker who dedicated over 40 years of his life to drywall. He took great pride in his craft, working with his hands and building things that would stand for years to come. His work ethic was strong, steady, and dependable — just like the man himself. Drywall wasn’t just a job to him; it was a trade he respected and a skill he mastered.

He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Frank George Bowman and Suzie Marie Bowman(Fought), and 4 siblings: David, Mary, Frankie & Barbara. He leaves behind to carry on his legacy his 5 children; Oakley Garza (Michael Garza), Julie Bowman (Sam Bowman), Chris Bowman (Lottie Bowman), Brandon Bowman (Sarah Jones), and Jessica Long. His children were his heart and his greatest accomplishment. He also leaves behind 17 cherished grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren who will continue to carry his legacy forward.

Isaiah is also survived by 3 siblings: Roger Bowman, Judy Simmons, and Katherine Bowman along with many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss him.

A longtime resident of Tarrant County, Isaiah built a life centered on family. He found joy in the simple things — sharing stories, spending time with those he loved. An avid hot rod car mechanic and wrestling enthusiast as well as enjoying the loyal companionship of his beloved dog, Cash.

Isaiah fought many battles in life with strength and determination. Though we grieve his absence, we take comfort in knowing he is now at peace, free from pain, and reunited with those who went before him.

His legacy lives on in the love he gave, the lessons he taught, and the family he cherished so deeply.

We will be holding a private viewing for immediate family, and a Celebration of life will be later determined which will be open to the public.
