Ina Sue Mooney Matthews

Ina Sue Mooney Matthews, 88, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed into eternity on September 25, 2025.

Ina devoted her life to her family as a loving stay-at-home mother of five children. Throughout her life, she lived in many cities across the United States alongside her military husband, creating a home wherever they were stationed. In her later years, she settled in Fort Worth, Texas, where she spent her remaining years surrounded by loved ones.

She was a woman of deep faith who loved God and lived a spiritual, prayerful life that touched all who knew her.

Ina is survived by her daughter, Linda Mooney; sons Roy Mooney, Tony Mooney, and Michael Mooney of Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Addie and Warren Wallace;  Roy Mooney Sr. and Boy Matthews; and her beloved daughter, Regina Mooney Forbes.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Liberty Church, 1715 Gertie Barrett Road, Mansfield, Texas.

Her faith, love, and strength will remain forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
