Gordon Lamar Johnston

Gordon Lamar Johnston was born on December 17, 1960 in Lilburn, Georgia to the late Johnnie Gertrude (Mungle) Johnston and Dale Edward Johnston. He passed away on September 26, 2023 in Mansfield, Texas at the age of 62.

Gordon loved his family and was a devoted father and grandfather.  He enjoyed collecting guns and knives and sharing his knowledge about them with his friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Kelly Renee (Spence) Johnston; siblings, John Johnston, Sandy Johnston, Mike Johnston, and Eddie Johnston.

Gordon is survived by his children, Erica Franklin of Springtown; Jonnie Harris of Azle, and Jason Johnston and his wife, Frosta of Mansfield; grandchildren, Ethan, Abby, Logan, Eli, Parker, Kiefer, Emma, and Jayce; Siblings, Randy Johnston and wife, Toni of Savannah, Georgia; Linda Wilkins and husband, Ricky of Dallas, Georgia and Gary Johnston and wife, Debbie of Villa Rica, Georgia.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Alpine Funeral Home in Fort Worth.
