Obituary

Glenn Braxton Steelman, 62, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on May 15, 2026, at his home.

Glenn was born on November 19, 1963, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Clyde Wallace Steelman, Sr. and Virginia Ann (Mikeska) Steelman. He was raised in Burleson, Texas.

Growing up, Glenn was an accomplished tennis player and competed for Burleson High School, and Crowley High School, where he played No. 1 doubles and helped contribute to the school’s tennis program. His love of the sport continued into his college years.

Glenn attended Texas Christian University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in 1988 and was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta (Fiji) fraternity.

Professionally, Glenn worked in the parking industry, holding management and leadership positions in both Houston and the Dallas Fort Worth area.

Glenn is survived by his parents, Clyde Wallace Steelman, Sr. and Virginia Ann (Mikeska) Steelman; his three sons, Blake Steelman, Davis Steelman, and Chase Steelman; his brother, Clyde Steelman; his sister, Sharon Nixon; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Dogs held a special place in Glenn’s life, and few things brought him more joy than their companionship. His miniature Goldendoodle, Cooper, was especially dear to him and remained an important part of his life. Cooper is now in the care of Glenn’s son Blake.

Glenn will be laid to rest during a graveside service on September 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at the Burleson Cemetery in Burleson, Texas.
