Danny Stewart Hurtt

Danny Stewart Hurtt passed away peacefully in his home in Cleburne, Tx.,
Monday August 7 th , 2023 at the age of 72. Danny was originally born in Alabama,
made his way to Georgia and eventually to Texas where he called home. He is
survived by his sister Raeanne Watkins; His three children that though they were
not his own, he loved them as such, and they him. One son, and two daughters;
Michael Nichols, Michele Jones and Amanda Nichols. 9 grandchildren and 8 great
grandchildren. Danny is now reunited with his wife Beverly Bird Hurtt; His mother
Mary Hurtt; His father Raymond Hurtt; His sister Vickie Clarke; 1 niece; 1
Grandson; 1 Granddaughter; 1 Great Grandson. He was a wise man who had
many words for most people. He loved his Texas family as much as his family back
home in Georgia. Danny may not have been of blood relation to his children,
grandchildren and great grandchildren but you never would have known. The love
he had for his family and the love they have and had for him is unmatched. Danny
was quirky, intelligent, stern, loving, but most of all the best grandpa anyone
could ever ask for. If you needed a listening ear, he was right there. He was
definitely going to give you his opinion, but he genuinely cared for those around him.
