Cynthia Lee Murrell

Cynthia Lee Murrell, 61 years of age, passed away Monday June 17, 2024.
She was born September 20, 1962 in Knox City, TX to Basil and Bessie Huckabee. Her and the family relocated to Haltom City in 1966. She graduated from Haltom High in 1981 , shortly afterwards she had Candace in 1982 and Tamara in 1984. She later adopted Dylan York when he was a young child. She worked as a diligent worker as a distributor for the Fort Worth Star Telegram for many years before retiring to care for her father. She loved visiting casinos and playing bingo . She also enjoyed thrift shopping and saving money. She thoroughly loved being a grand mother to Thomas, Jordan and Delilah . In addition to that she loved being an aunt to so many nieces and nephews who she considered her own. 
She was preceded in death by her mother Bessie Huckabee, her father Basil Huckabee, her sister Carol Nissen, and her sister Mary Pribble and the love of her life Joe Jackson.
Cynthia is survived by her sister Linda Huckabee, her daughter Candace Harris and her husband David Harris, her daughter Tamara Cottle and her husband JD Cottle, and her son Dylan York and grand children Thomas, Jordan and Delilah . Also her nieces and nephews Victoria, Jennifer, Brian, Cecilia, Brandi and Jesse. In addition to that she had numerous great nieces and nephews. 
Visitation and viewing is on Monday the 24th from 6pm to 8pm. The funeral will be Tuesday June 25th at 12pm at 517 N Sylvania avenue Fort Worth TX 76111.
