Constance Taylor was born February 15, 1986, in Arlington, Texas, daughter of Lisa Stafford and the late Robert Taylor. The family moved to Fort Worth, Texas in 1996. Connie attended Morningside Elementary and Morningside Middle. Connie graduated from O.D. Wyatt and went on to get her certificate to become a medical assistant. After discovering she could make more money by driving forklifts, that became her profession for several years. Connie always kept a job or 2. She would say I’m not working to just pay bills. Connie loved food, playing Bingo, shopping and spending time with family and friends. Connie loved her niece and nephews like they were her own. Connie did not have a church home, but she was a believer. In May 2019 Connie started her battle with metastatic breast cancer. The doctor told her that the medication could work for up to 5 years. Connie fought a long hard battle. Being a member of her support squad, you got to see just how strong she really was. She beat that 5-year mark.
On October 19. 2025, she heard the call. She left it all behind. Now she soars where pain can’t stay. Her spirit is whole, her tears wiped away. The fight is done, the peace begins, her strength renewed, she’s gained her wings. Through heaven’s light her laughter sings, a love eternal, carried on angel wings.
She is proceeded in death by her father, Robert Taylor, grandmother, Georgia Littlejohn, brother, Jacolby Stafford and a host of other relatives and friends.
Cherishing her memory her mother, Lisa Stafford, siblings, Tonya and John Roberson, Keitheisha Turner, Aunt Debra Pointer and Demetra Harper, Uncle Deacon Stafford and Curtis Stafford, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Fallen Limb
A limb fell from the family. I keep hearing a voice that says, “Grieve not for me”.
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was strong. Continue walking for a cure, I’m counting on you. Keep smiling and surely the sun while shine through. My mind at ease; my soul rests. Remembering all, how I truly was blessed. Continue traditions no matter how small. Go on with your life, don’t worry about the falls.
