Carmen Margarita Gonzalez Rodriguez

Carmen Margarita González Rodríguez was born on April 25, 1951 in Manatí, Puerto Rico. She passed away peacefully on August 29, 2023 at home in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 72 years old.

Carmen was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed her life and loved to share her happiness with others.  She will be remembered for her contagious smile with her beautiful dimples.

She was preceded in death by her parents, María Rodríguez and Jose González; and her siblings, Ruth González, José “Pepito” González, Jesús “Chú” González, María González, Jorge González.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Juan F. Rodríguez of Fort Worth; her loving children, Juan J. Rodríguez and wife, Normalí of Fort Worth, Jesús Rodríguez of Las Vegas, Nevada, and daughter, Karen Rodríguez and husband, Julio Meléndez of Toa Baja, Puerto Rico; grandchildren, Juan E. Rodríguez, Krystal M. Rodríguez, Johan D. Rodríguez, Cristina M. Rodríguez, Jonathan J. Rodríguez, Keesha A.  Rodríguez, Jack J. Rodríguez, Karielys M. Meléndez, Alanys N. Meléndez, and Ryan M. Meléndez; 2 great-grandchildren, Valentino and Grayson; she is also survived by her sister, María González and Pedro González.

Visitation for Carmen will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Alpine Funeral Home in Fort Worth. Committal service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery located at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.
