Bennie Joe Shields

Bennie Joe Shields born October 15, 1942, passed away December 28, 2022.

Bennie was a professional pilot and worked for Bell Helicopter as a flight instructor,

production test pilot and experimental test pilot.

He graduated from Wichita Falls Ryder High School and recieved a football

scholarship to the University of Oklahoma and played under the legendary Bud

Wilkerson.

He married Judith Carol Case February 7,1970 and had 52 beautiful years of

marriage to Judy. She affectionately referred to Bennie as: "The Best Pilot In The World"

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Judy, brother Larry and his wife Vaneda of Boerne, TX. Brother Ronnie and wife Jackie of Wichita Falls, TX. Several nieces and nephews, family and friends who loves him dearly.

Bennie accepted his diagnosis of Alzheimers with dignity & grace.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday February 4, 2023 at 2:00 PM. First United Methodist Church of Keller, 1025 Johnson Rd, Keller, TX 76248
