Amy Carolyn (Clayton) Brittain

Born on September 25, 1956, in Dallas Texas, the second of four children, as a young girl, Amy’s personality stood out. Within her family, her big-hearted spirit made her shine. As a young girl, she had a spark and spontaneity that could not be missed.

Amy attended Midwestern State University in 1978 and later received a degree in Sociology. She went on to work several years after college and then found her greater calling as a devoted stay-at-home mom, raising her two sons, Reed and Will. Amy was deeply devoted to her two sons, and they were the first thing on her mind every single day. She was protective, loving, and always made sure they knew how much they meant to her. She loved to share funny stories about their adventures together, and her pride in them was unmistakable. Wanting to stay close and involved in their lives, Amy often volunteered at their elementary school, giving her time and energy so she could be nearby and part of their world. Her boys were her greatest joy, and being their mom was the role she cherished most.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Williams and Lucas Funeral Home located at 517 N. Sylvania Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76111.
